Founding member of CLAS in 1975, which becomes Gruppo CLAS in 1989. She carries out research and consultancy activities concerning training, both as coordinator and scientific director. Her main professional interests include the matching between training and the labour market, training of teachers and managers, the evaluation of institutions and training processes, the connections between public and private schools. She has taken part in many ministerial commissions and is a counselor to Italian and foreign scientific journals. Sociology researcher in education both at Trento university and Università Cattolica in Milan. Associate and full Professor in Bari and in Genoa. She has been Italy’s representative in the OECD-CERI, member of the board of the Fondazione per la scuola della Compagnia di San Paolo, member of the board of directors of Indire and deputy president of ANVUR.
